It may be for one night only, but The Maya Rudolph Show already looks pretty awesome.
The days of the variety show are largely gone, but that doesn’t mean that the former Saturday Night Live star can’t make the format fun again. This quick promo, which debuted today, hints at a cavalcade of guests who will be joining star Maya Rudolph on May 19: Chris Parnell, Kristen Bell, Fred Armisen, Sean Hayes, and Andy Samberg. The musical guest will be Janelle Monae.
The show, which may have a chance to become a series depending on its success, will air at 10 PM on Monday, May 19. Here’s the introductory video, released by NBC today:
