On the heels of Kevin Durant being named NBA MVP, the accolades continue as the Oklahoma City Thunder small forward was named the NBA 2K15 cover athlete.
The news was announced via a call with 2K Games and the MVP himself. There are no screen-shots or box art (yet) of Durant, but the image above is from the PlayStation 4 version of NBA 2K14 and we can expect more of the same in terms of graphical oomph.
Last year's cover athlete, LeBron James, reached out to congratulate Durant on his MVP win this morning. James will, undoubtedly, be wildly over-powered in his assured appearance in NBA 2K15.
