The unsuspecting passengers of this limo were taken on a terrifying ride when the vehicle they were sitting in was stolen, then crashed by a very drunk man.
DNAinfo reports that 24-year-old Marwan Elbordiny commandeered the limo after its driver left it unattended in the West Village at around 3:12 a.m. on May 7. Elbordiny exploded through a red light, traveling several blocks before smacking into another vehicle.
Authorities arrived to find him exhibiting the tell-tale signs of intoxication, and he registered a .181 when given a Breathalyzer. As if that wasn't enough, Elbordiny was also driving with a suspended license.
He was ultimately charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle. While shaken up by the experience, none of the passengers were injured.
