Cougar Town was saved from cancellation by TBS, but this time it won't be so lucky. The Bill Lawrence comedy (which, despite a terrible name, is pretty funny) was renewed for a sixth season but it will be its last. There will be only thirteen more episodes; however, it will put it in range for syndication.

The series, starring Courteney Cox, premiered on ABC in 2009 and was (sort of) canceled after season two before being revived on cable network TBS. No word on season six's plot line, but it will air in early 2015.
