Amazon, your go-to website to order things you're too lazy to get yourself, just got a patent for this:
What is that, you ask? It's a variation of a typical set-up photographers use to take portraits of people, or things, against a white background. Not much different than the photo of Queen Bey above. The U.S. PatentOffice granted Amazon the patent called "Studio Arrangement," which the company explains as:
None
You probably didn't make it through half of that dense description, but as TechDirt describes it, it's basically:
1. Turn back lights on.
2. Turn front lights on.
3. Position thing on platform.
4. Take picture.
Amazon's lawyers are poppin' champagne right now.
