Throwback Thursday has taken over Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. It's an event once a week where celebrities force themselves back into the limelight, politicians try to seem relevant, and high school friends try to get noticed. Damn near everyone flocks to their old photo albums when Thursday morning rolls around. Some of the best #TBT photos are enough to melt even the most cynical, web savvy heart. Who can resist scrolling through pictures of childhood sporting events, long ago Halloweens, and adolescent embarrassments?
Of course, where there’s a good thing on the Internet, people will ruin it. There are more than enough self-centered, lame, and non-TBT qualifying photos posted on Throwback Thursday to make you abandon nostalgic hashtags entirely. Today, we try to restore the fast fading honor of Throwback Thursday. We ask you to keep from posting these types of Throwback Thursday pics and “leave Throwback Thursday alone!” (Sorry, that was our own little #TBT.) Here are 12 #TBT Photos We Don’t Need To See.
