You've seen it countless times throughout your time playing videogames: having woken up/stumbled upon/survived some terrible calamity you now find yourself in an abandoned space station covered in the blood and innards of innocents brutally ripped apart by some evil/ancient/demonic/alien god-knows-what. You have to survive, sure, but what happens to the space station? Someone's got to clean up all those entrails and desperate warnings-against-evil-scrawled-in-blood, right?
Right. Hence the purpose of Viscera Cleanup Detail, which tasks you as a lowly Roger Wilco-type whose purpose is to clean up the death-infested mess left behind after the space marines (or whoever) have moved through (or died trying).
Check the trailer for some gruesome footage above. If you like what you see you can pick up the Steam Early Access build of the game - which the developers stress is like an open beta with its fair share of network problems and other issues – for a measly $8.
Enjoy! And happy mopping.
