At first glance, it seems that the Russian TV show called, Дорога домой (which translates to either "The Road Home," "Homeward," or "Homeward Bound"—something with the word "home" in it, basically!) has a pretty nifty opening sequence...until you realize that it looks sort of familiar, then realize that it's pretty much exactly the same as True Detective's opening sequence.
This can't be a coincidence, right? Even the song played during the opening sequence sounds like True Detective's theme, "Far From Any Road" by The Handsome Family.
Hell, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
