These days, every other film that drops at the multiplex is a superhero movie. These macho men (and sometimes women) don tights and save the day. While it is nice when they stop trains from derailing and redirect asteroids, there are some far more practical superpowers that America’s cities desperately need. This isn't about doomsday devices and nefarious plots. This is about celebrating the kind of superheroes who, if they existed, would make life a little bit more bearable in whatever faceless sprawling metropolis you call home.
