A woman was arrested after the bodies of seven babies were discovered inside of cardboard boxes in the garage of a Utah home where she used to reside over the weekend.

According to the New York Times, 39-year-old Megan Huntsman lived at the home until 2011. Police in Pleasant Grove, Utah received a call from her estranged husband on Saturday after the man reportedly found the remains of a dead infant inside of the home's garage. The home is owned by the man's parents, and the discovery was made as he was cleaning out the garage.

When Pleasant Grove police arrived, they discovered the bodies of six other infants stuffed inside of cardboard boxes. Authorities say that Huntsman gave birth to the children between 1999 and 2006. Though police say her husband lived with her when they were born, they do not believe he was aware of the situation.

The Times adds that the bodies were taken to the medical examiner's office to determine a cause of death. In addition, DNA samples from Huntsman and her husband were collected.

Huntsman currently faces murder charges.
