Quentin Tarantino threatened to kill his latest screenplay after Gawker leaked it, but it might, just might, see the light of day. He's hosted a live reading last night in Los Angeles starring Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, Amber Tamblyn.
Gawker basically ruined everything by revealing basically the entire cast dies in the end. Tarantino says he's going to rewrite the final act. The plot is apparently "a combination of Western and Agatha Christie-style whodunnit, as various men and women engage in conversation and shootings in the haberdashery." We're not exactly sure what that means, but here's hoping production goes forward.
