With the latest update to the PlayStation 4, Sony looks to up your editing game with SHAREfactory, a new video editing app. The app will allow users to combine clips and add filters, transitions, text, stickers and even audio commentary and picture-in-picture modes. Much more than is currently available, which is limited to trimming the ends of captured videos.
Check out the video to see just what you'll be able to do with the new app. However the app doesn't add direct uploads to YouTube like the Xbox one, Facebook uploads are still the only direct option. Yet users will be able to export videos to a USB drive and upload it to whatever service they like. PlayStation promises the update “very soon.”
