Octodad: Dadliest Catch is inherently goofy. As a secret octopus-in-a-suit, you have to control your gangly tentacled self in all manner of silly situations to keep your identity hidden from your human family. Next week the game is being released for PS4, and interestingly, the PSN edition is getting some improvements over the original Steam release. Young Horses head Phil Tibitowski said during the devleopment of the PC version the team somewhere along the lines to some degree forgot that the game is supposed to be an absurdist comedic adventure, something the PS4 release works to correct (for example, a stealth mission in the game has been removed). Bonus: Move controls.
Anyway, check the trailer to get a taste of what you can expect. You probably don't have a soul if you can't see the inherent charm of Octodad. It drops April 22 on PS4 for $15.
