The NYPD says a man sought in a Brooklyn shooting was found hiding in a bodega yesterday morning.

According to CBS New York, police responded to an emergency call about shots fired around 3:30 a.m.  They found a man claiming to have been shot following an argument with another man, who rushed to New Utica Produce Bodega. That's where officers found Obatakum Staton, 26, still armed.

Staton refused to drop his weapon, forcing an officer to open fire. Staton, who was not injured during the incident, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property and a weapon, as well as resisting arrest. An officer was taken to Methodist Hospital for tinnitus treatment.
