Check out some early artwork from Marvel’s upcoming Stephen King adaptation, “The Dark Tower: The Drawing of the Three–The Prisoner.”

Since 2007, Marvel has expanded beyond the superhero genre in a series of comic titles based on the world that author Stephen King created in his Dark Tower novels. Over the years, the publisher has put out multiple series that have directly adapted and, in some cases, expanded upon King’s post-apocalyptic Western world.

Now, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, there is some new artwork to share with you from the company’s upcoming five-issue miniseries, The Dark Tower: The Drawing of the Three–The Prisoner. The book will focus on the character of Eddie Dean, who was introduced in King’s second Dark Tower book.

Details are scarce, but it has been confirmed that The Prisoner will hit shelves some time in September. Take a look at some art by Piotr Kowalski below:
