It’s been known for months that Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot would be starring in Warner Brothers’ upcoming Man of Steel sequel, but outside of DC’s holy trinity, the rest of the cast has yet to be decided on. Well, until now. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, and Tao Okamoto have all been added to the film’s cast in unspecified roles. The only thing revealed about these characters is that they will be completely original to the movie and have no comic counterparts.

Okamoto and Mulvey have experience within the comic book genre in The Wolverine and 300: Rise of an Empire respectively, but this will be Hunter’s first foray into the genre. But out of the three, she has the most prestige to her name, with an Academy Award for The Pianist to her credit.

“Holly has always been one of my favorite actresses,” director Zack Synder said in a statement. “She has immense talent and is always captivating on screen. I had an opportunity to meet her a while back and knew instantly that I had to work with her, so as we began writing the script I made sure to create a role specifically for her.”

The yet-untitled Man of Steel sequel will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
