Rush Limbaugh Has Already Sent Shots at CBS and Stephen Colbert

Rush Limbaugh isn't fond of CBS' decision to hire Stephen Colbert as David Letterman's successor.

As announced earlier today, Stephen Colbert is your Late Show host of the future and will replace David Letterman in 2015. One of the many questions concerning the gig would be whether or not he would drop his satirical right-wing character. The answer to that question is yes, he will drop the act. However, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is feeling threatened already.

"CBS has just declared war on the heartland of America," Limbaugh said on his radio show today, adding,"is comedy going to be a covert assualt on traditional American values?"

Granted, the media circus concerning the Colbert news is brand new and developing every minute, Limbaugh probably had no clue of the specifics behind the gig. Still, he really took no time whatsoever to share his two red pennies.
