Police have arrested a man accused of shooting a 13-year-old boy as he waited for a bus earlier this week.
NBC New York reports that Kareem Potomont, 21, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and assault in connection with the shooting that left Gama Droiville in serious condition.
Droiville was waiting for a bus in Brooklyn on Monday afternoon when Potomont opened fire striking the teenager twice in the head and his intended target once in the leg. Police Potomont fired nearly a dozen shots.
According to NBC New York Droiville's father, Jimmy Marcel, said that doctors are working diligently to save the boy's right eye.
