We’ll admit it: the idea of a “Lip Sync Battle” between Jimmy Fallon and Emma Stone did not get us all that fired up at first. The 7:25 length of the segment was, functionally, strike two.
But then we watched the actual video, and within 30 seconds that all changed.
Simply put, everything about it was awesome, from the song choice to the cinematography to Fallon’s robot dance. Stone—who was on the show to promote The AmazingSpiderman 2—absolutely crushed her two performances, earning full marks for her lip syncing ability as well as her choice of songs.
