How to Become a Master at 10 College Drinking Games

What you'll need: Quarter, shot glasses, table, and lots of beer in cans.
Objective: The game is over when all the beer cans on the table are empty, which is known as a nuclear fallout.
Pro tip: Create alliances and build strategy in order to successfully drink all of your beer.

Instructions: To begin, a player must spin a quarter and take two shots of beer and pick up the quarter, all with the same hand. If you use the wrong hand, you will have to do it over again. When beer cans are empty, they become landmines. These landmines can be used to stop a person's quarter spin, which will cause that player to down their beer and redo their turn. The empty beer can must remain where it is, which will pose as a new obstacle to the players. If quarters hit into empty beer cans, the player must start again and drink. After three unsuccessful spins, the player must finish their drink and relinquish the quarter to the next player.

What you'll need: Beer, pint glasses, shot glasses, and hard liquor.
Objective: Players take turns trying to keep a shot glass afloat in a pint of beer.
Pro tip: Don't be too heavy handed as you pour the shot.

Instructions: Fill a pint glass with beer half way, enough for a shot glass to be able to float atop the beer. Each player takes turns filling the shot glass with hard liquor. The player who causes the shot glass to sink has to drink the entire contents of the pint glass: the beer and the hard liquor.

What you'll need: 40 ounces, and duct tape.
Objective: Consume 80 ounces of beer win one sitting.
Pro tip: Use the bathroom before you play.

Instructions: 40 ounce beers are duct taped to the participant's hands. The player will not be relieved of the beer bottles until the bottles are completely empty. 

What you'll need: Beer, a music playlist, decent speakers, and lots of people.
Objective: Drink one shot of beer every minute for an hour.
Pro tip: Stay in one place to control your drunkness.

Instructions: A playlist is created and participants must drink every time the song changes for the next hour. Songs must play for at least a minute a piece.

What you'll need: At least four people, and beer.
Objective: Remember all players hand signs and the order the preceding players used them.
Pro tip: Pay attention. 

Instructions: Each player chooses a hand sign that they'll use for the duration of the game. The hand signs are shown to all of the players once. The first player, the leader, does their hand sign and another player's hand sign to dictate who goes next. The leader chants, "What's the name of the game?!" Everyone responds, "Thumper!" The leader replies, "Why do we play?!" Everyone replies, "To get fucked up!" The next player does the first player's hand sign, their hand sign and a new players hand sign. This continues until someone makes a mistake and has to drink.

What you'll need: A variety of liquor, beer, juice, shot glasses, and a table.
Objective: To remain the last one standing.
Pro tip: Take every shot like a man.

Instructions: A roulette set is not always needed to play liquor roulette. Arrange shot glasses around a table and fill them with whatever beverages you have: milk, water, vodka, orange juice, lean, purple drank or sizzurp (just kidding!) Use an empty beer bottle as a spinner and take turns downing shots.

What you'll need: Hard liquor, plastic cups, and lots of people.
Objective: Get all of the players to count to 21 with no mistakes.
Pro tip: Create rules that idiots won't remember.

Instructions: Each participant has a cup full of liquor and the players must count from 1 to 21 consecutively without mistakes. The first rule is as followed: The numbers "7" and "11" are switched. The players who make mistakes will need to drink for each mistake. This is repeated until the entire group reaches 21. At 21, the entire group drinks and says "Cheers to the Governor." Once the group makes it to 21, a new rule is added while still keeping the old rules in play.

What you'll need: Plastic cups, deck of cards, lots of booze, and lots of people.
Objective: The player to pull the last King card has to drink the entire contents of the King's Cup.
Pro tip: Pay attention to each card that is pulled and remember each card's meaning.

Instructions: A cup is placed in the middle of the table, around a circle of cards faced down. Each participant takes turn pulling from the deck, ready for the consequence of each card. General rules are the same, but some meanings differ based on house rules. If the circle of cards is broken, the player who broke the circle must drink. Every time a King card is pulled, the player must pour some of their drink into the cup on the table. 

What you'll need: Beer, plastic cups, table, at least five people.
Objective: The first team to successfully flip all of their cups wins.
Pro tip: Beer makes the table tops slippery, which makes it harder to flip the cup. Tap lightly. 

Instructions: Two teams stand on opposite sides of the table with a cup in front of each player. Everyone receives the same amount of beer (or hard liquor if you're down) in their plastic cups. The first team member of both teams starts at the same time and must finish the contents of their cups. Placing the plastic cups at the edge of the table, the next player cannot continue until the preceding player's cup has been flipped over. This goes from player to player until the last player flips their cup.

What you'll need: Beer, plastic cups, ping-pong ball, table, at least four people.
Objective: The team to eliminate their opponent's cups wins.
Pro tip: Make sure your hands are dry.

Instructions: Each team sets up their cups in a triangle formation. Each team takes turns launching a ping-pong ball at their opponents cups. For each ball that lands in a cup, the entire contents of that cup must be guzzled. The empty cups are removed from the game and the remaining cups are rearranged in the original triangle formation. The team with all of their cups removed is the loser.
