A full trailer for HBO's feature film The Normal Heart has arrived. The movie stars Mark Ruffalo as Ned Weeks, a man who witnesses the disturbing effects of AIDS in New York City as it begins to claim lives in the gay community. This motivates Weeks to seek answers about the then-unknown disease with the help of Dr. Emma Brookner (Julia Roberts).
The film was directed by Ryan Murphy and based on a play written by Larry Kramer who also adapted the text for the screen.
The Normal Heart premieres on HBO on May 25.
