Dominique Ansel's Chocolate Chip Cookie Shots Went for $6,500 at an Auction

Someone bid $6,500 for a box at a fundraiser for City Harvest last night. Needless to say, they won.

Bad press doesn't seem to hurt Dominique Ansel's brand, as someone paid $6,500 for a box of his famous chocolate chip cookie shots last night. 

No, it wasn't at the bakery, it was at an auction to raise money for City Harvest, which battles hunger in the New York City. According to Grub Street, that's $812.50 per shot, but it's all for a good cause:
