A man was caught smuggling heroin into the U.S. at JFK Internaional Airport earlier this month, officials say.

According to Gothamist, Bernard Charles of Trinidad and Tobago flew into JFK International from Port of Spain, Trinidad on Apr. 1. Noticing how suspiciously anxious Charles was, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol police elected to search his suitcase, but eventually found two clear packages attached to his groin area.

The packages contained 1.79 pounds of a "brown-like paste" that ultimately tested positive for heroin. The drugs are worth a reported $70,000 on the street, and Charles faces smuggling charges.

Earlier this month, authorities announced the discovery of more than seven pounds of cocaine stashed inside of goat meat at the airport last month. 'Tis the season for failed drug smugglers, apparently.
