If the Internet Had Its Way, It Would Have Named This Baby Girl "Cthulhu All-Spark"

Two parents launched a campaign for letting the Internet choose their baby's name... then completely ignored it.

A few months ago, a couple set up the website NameMyDaughter.com, which let users submit and vote on name choices for their unborn daughter, with the idea of the most voted name being the winner.

Well, that baby was born earlier this month, and the winning name ended up being (drumroll please): Cthulhu All-Spark. Thanks, Internet. If you don't know what an "All-Spark" is, that's from Transformers. And Cthulhu? That's this thing:

Obviously the couple spared their baby daughter and named her the runner-up name: Amelia. If not that, they had other choices submitted by the Internet, like Zelda, Megatron, and Streetlamp.
