A new iPhone scam is getting homeless people to sign up for contracts in exchange for some quick money—but they're kept with a contract that they can't afford.
A reporter for KUSA in Denver investigated a man in a Cherry Creek Mall Apple Store who was getting the poor to buy iPhones in exchange for some money. But in order to buy those iPhones, the homeless people have to sign their name on a contract, which they're stuck with after they get their money. The man who KUSA identified as the one bringing the poor into the scam, sells the iPhones overseas, where he'll get far more money after it's unlocked. One of the craziest things about the situation is that the Apple Store employees kicked out the journalist instead of the guy committing the scams. Check out their report above.
