Apple just released their Q2 earnings, and they made more revenue than expected... but no thanks from the iPad.

The highly anticipated announcement came earlier today, which immediately affected its stocks. The company said revenue was more than $45.6 billion, and that the iPhone shipped more than 43 million units, but the iPad fell behind Apple's other products, selling 3 million less than what the company had predicted. Apple expected the iPad to ship almost 20 million units, but only came up with a little more than 16 million—even after the release of two new units, the iPad Mini Retina and the iPad Air. Maybe people are content with their old iPads and don't feel the need to update? This could be a sign the company needs to push a little more creativity in the tablet department, and a thinner design might not be all people are looking for any more.
