Twitter is stepping up its game a bit, and not a moment too soon.

News came out yesterday that Instagram hit 200 million users, and that the photo service may have more mobile users in the US than Twitter does. Now, Twitter is getting its photo game right by letting users upload up to four photos per tweet, and tag up to 10 people for each photo. While you were able to "tag" people in a tweet with a photo by @ mentioning them, now tagging people in a tweet won't affect your character count. The option to upload up to four photos and create a collage is rolling out for iPhone today, and will be coming to Android and the Twitter website soon.

Don't worry, you can change your notifications and the users who can tag you in Settings.
