M. Night Shyamalan is Directing a Low Budget Thriller Starring Kathryn Hahn

Hopefully this is better than "The Happening." And "After Earth." And "Lady in the Water." And...

Fallen Star, PacificCoastNews.com

In a critical sense, M. Night Shyamalan's movies have gotten worse and worse as time went on. His last six movies have an average percentage of 25.5% on Rotten Tomatoes. His latest, After Earth chalked up a 6%. Hopefully, the stress of a low budget movie can birth a decent movie from Shyamalan.

Indiewire reports that Shyamalan has been working on a low budget thriller called Sundowning in secret for quite some time.

The Wrap says that Kathryn Hahn and Ed Oxenbould star in the Sundowning, which is about "a single mother whose two young children visit their grandparents… and things go very wrong."

As Indiewire points out, the Wikipedia entry for "sundowning" may shed light on more details of what to expect:

None

Hopefully, the twist for this Shyamalan film is that it's good.
