Authorities say a Staten Island man was arrested earlier this week for rubbing raw meat all over a 15-year-old girl's body to exorcise "evil spirits."
Rafael Paulino, 42, was arrested at a New Brighton apartment on Wednesday. Paulino reportedly told one of the girl's relatives that a malicious spirit was making the girl depressed, so he had to perform a "spiritual cleansing" process that cost $122. It involved the girl standing in a bathtub, cutting her clothes off and rubbing raw meat on her private areas, all while he kissed and touched her in a "sexual nature."
As if that isn't disturbing or infuriating enough, here's the statement he offered to police:

Paulino was charged with sexual abuse, multiple counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and fortune telling.
