For the second time around Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is being remade for modern systems. This time it has been rebuilt from the ground-up with new art and voice acting for Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty.
Check out the trailer that shows off the remade versions of classic cut scenes and gameplay all now in HD, 1080p glory. It's a testament to how fun this little puzzle-adventure game is that 15 years after the original release it keeps getting remade.
Developer Oddworld Inhabitants has a lot riding on this release. It has calculated that if the game sells 250,000 copies it can remake the sequel Oddworld: Abe's Exoddusin the same way and with 500,000 in sales it'll make a brand new Oddworld game.
Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is set to release “soon” on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, with PC, Wii U and Mac versions to follow .
