Police in New Mexico say a woman clubbed her mother in the head with a vibrator during a weekend dispute.

According to the Smoking Gun, Cara Claffy, 35, hit her 60-year-old mother Cheryl in the head with her vibrator on Sunday evening, prompting the older woman to call police. When authorities arrived at the Albuquerque, N.M. home, Cherl Claffy pointed to a pickup truck and told officers that her daughter could be found inside.

Upon inspection, police found a male driver and a vibrator on the vehicle's passenger side floor, but no Claffy. Cara Claffy was not taken into custody until she left another house in the area. While confirming that she and her mother had argued, she insisted that she did not bludgeon her mother with her vibrator.

Cheryl Claffy told a different tale, explaining that her daughter had attacked her after the two began arguing, striking her with the device until the was left bleeding from the head. Furthermore, she had the wounds to prove her case.

Claffy was arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a household member, as well as domestic violence.
