Two men were arrested for robbing a man and his pregnant girlfriend over the weekend. The woman was reportedly in labor, authorities say.
According to Fox Baltimore, police in Annapolis, Md. were summoned early Sunday morning after a witness reported seeing a man and his pregnant girlfriend being held at gunpoint. By the time police arrived, the suspects were escaping in a vehicle stolen from the victims.
Police said that after a brief chase, two suspects abandoned the vehicle, throwing a gun as police pursued them. The weapon was discovered later, as was a shotgun. Glen Burnie, Md. resident Devery Kelley, 24, was arrested, as was Cornell Robinson, 44, of Washington, D.C. Both men face various robbery and assault charges.
A third suspect is still at large, and the pregnant woman was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center.
