Maria Menounos can add reality TV star to her already impressive resume that includes television host, actress, dancer and part-time wrestler.
"Chasing Maria Menounos" will be a half-hour reality show about Menounos' hectic career, her relationship with long time boyfriend, Keven Undergaro, and her parents. Even though Maria's work schedule has her working from early morning until late at night, finding time to film with her boyfriend and parents was actually easier than it sounds. Why? Because they all live together.
“Doing the show would force me to see my family more,” 35-year-old Menounos explains, according to NY Daily News. “Because I knew that’s what the show would be about."
The show will also focus on Menounos' parents pressuring the couple to get married and start a family.
“I come from a very traditional Greek family,” says Menounos. “So even though what Keven and I are doing, living together for this long without getting married, is obviously not traditional, traditions are very important in my family.”
Menounos hopes that doing the show will bring her family closer together. She promises to deliver a reality show that is as real as it gets.
“We contracted to do a reality show. I don’t want to do anything that’s not real.”
