Lindsay Lohan stopped by on Friday's Ellen show to discuss her docu-series and what she's been up to since her sixth stint in rehab. Lohan spoke frankly about the process of trying to transition back into work, feeling lonely in LA and attempting to live a sober life in New York City.

Ellen dove right in by asking Lohan about filming her life so shortly after leaving rehab and if the cameras were what pressured her to stay healthy.

"I really wanted a moment for myself and I learned a lot of different tools [in rehab] and things that I didn't in the past. In the past a lot of it people don't know this, but I was sent to rehab to avoid you know, them trying to put me in jail," Lohan explained. "So it wasn't something that I necessarily wanted or was ready for."

Lohan also talked about how moving to New York has changed her life for the better. She describes New York as a safe haven where her family resides and the paparazzi are not an issue anymore.

"They have not bothered me at all. It's strange."

The most intriguing part of the interview was when Lohan revealed a new app she has been developing with her brother called SpottedFriend, an app that can review a person's outfit and give the user an instant overview of each designer and brand of clothing. It's basically Shazam for clothes.

It's no question that Lohan is doing her best to get back on track. With a film coming out, living in a new city and diving into the tech game, Lohan may just surprise us all and make it back on top sooner than we thought.
