Sonic Lost World already received a surprise DLC with Yoshi's Island, but now Sega and Nintendo are dropping a new Legend of Zelda tie-in with a free DLC. As expected Nintendo president Satoru Iwata's hint of a “link” DLC turned out to be true with The Legend of Zelda's Link joining Sonic in a “Legend of Zelda Zone” in Sonic Lost World.

Link will make cameos and help out while Sonic is dressed up in the the sword-wielding adventurer's classic green garb. The “Legend of Zelda Zone” will include influences from Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and many other games. The downloadable content will be free on March 27 on Nintendo's eShop.
