A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Southern California this morning, reportedly hitting Los Angeles with the biggest tremors since the aftershocks of the 1994 Northridge earthquake. No damage or injuries have been reported, but it was a startling moment regardless. The suspense can be relived through the reaction of the KTLA morning news team, particularly anchor Chris Schauble, whose facial expressions are the stuff that legendary memes are made of. (The thing is, once you see what's above them, you'll realize his concern is justified.)

Schauble has embraced the attention, changing his Twitter avatar to an image of his reaction. It's encouraging to see that he can take a joke, or several.

KTLA's entertainment department even joined the fun, helping this moment live triumphantly on the Internet for a while.
