Take A Look At Grant Gustin's Full Costume For The CW's "Flash" Pilot

Following the success of Arrow, The CW has been quick to put a spin-off into production based on another DC Comics icon, The Flash. Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster himself, a pilot for a potential Flash series should air sometime this year. In an attempt to win over fans who have been skeptical of the project, the network has just released the first full image of what Gustin will look like in the Flash costume, and it’s safe to say they pretty much nailed it.

While Arrow has taken a pretty low-tech vision to Oliver Queen’s look, Gustin looks like he just stepped out of the pages of a comic. The red uniform, the golden chest insignia, and the trademark lightning bolt ear designs are all here. The helmet looks a little on the bulky side, but that can just be a product of the angle the picture was taken from and some awkward Photoshopping. Still, it's a far cry from the hoodies and plastic armor from Smallville

Either way, it’s far better than most fans thought The CW could ever do. Now you can finally get excited about The Flash, DC fans. Take a look t the full image below:
