A Bronx man who fell into frozen waters in Woodlawn Cemetery yesterday was rescued by firefighters, officials say.

According to the New York Daily News, the man fell through the ice at the Bronx cemetery yesterday afternoon, and members of Ladder Co. 39 were forced to use ladders to cross the ice get to the man, who was in the center of the lake. The man was kicking, and though firefighters struggled to free him, he was eventually saved.
