Earlier this week, Polish restaurant Dziupla (194 Bedford Ave.) opened in Williamsburg.
The work of Krzysztof Drewiecki, the restaurant's menu will feature the best items from his other establishments: Kristophe, Karczma and both Krolewskie Jadlos. These include duck pierogis, barbecue boar ribs, beef and salmon tartare and Amish farm-raised chicken meatballs.
The lone drawback is that the application for the liquor license is still pending, so customers will have to wait a little while before they can pair a drink of choice with their favorite meal. The upside is that there's something else about Dziupla to look forward to.
Dziupla is open 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 7:30 a.m. to midnight on Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.
