Doctors, lawyers, politicians, even teachers—it’s a given that many (if not most) people watch porn from time to time. That said, there’s an understanding that there’s a right place and time to view erotic material (it’s why websites use that helpful #NSFW tag). Unfortunately, in a day-and-age with smart phones, digital projects, Apple TVs, and laptops, it’s getting harder and harder to separate professional time from personal, even you want to. In most jobs such missteps go unnoticed—why would an accountant show a coworker their phone or laptop?—but over the last few years a number of teachers in both higher and lower education have made some seriously unfortunate judgement calls.
