An elderly man was assaulted by a homeless woman at the Port Authority Bus Terminal over the weekend.
The 80-year-old man was waiting outside of the women's bathroom for his wife on Saturday morning when Danika Riley, 40, attacked him at random. Police arrested Riley and charged her with assault and possession of a controlled substance after a crack pipe was discovered on her. The man was treated for injuries to his upper body and head at the scene of the assault.
According to NBC New York, Riley has a lengthy criminal background, with her most notable charge coming from escaping an Oklahoma penitentiary back in 1994.
