Telltale Games can pretty much do no wrong in the eyes of gamers.
After the monstrous success of adapting Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead into a narrative focused, point-and-click title that centered on the human survivors and the lasting impact of the decisions they were forced to make, Telltale Games was nearly deified by gamers.
Yes, there were still zombies.
But, they served as background components to a larger and richer experience that always gave players two choices, neither of which they wanted to make. After The Walking Dead, Telltale set its sights on the brilliant Vertigo Comics property, Fables. The results of that have been stunning as well in The Wolf Among Us.
And now they've partnered with HBO to bring Game of Thrones to life. Sure, Game of Thrones has been adapted into a video game before this, but like The Sopranos game, it was an unplayable mess and largely an embarrassment to everyone involved.
A Telltale Games produced Game of Thrones title is some next-level nerdgasm shit. And it got us thinking. If Telltale has that kind of in at HBO, what other series should they tackle next?
