Microsoft rolled out the first major update to the Xbox One's operating system since launch last Friday and it seemed to have come with a one big bug.

Many Xbox One users are reporting that their screens go black when the Xbox button is pressed on the controller. Causing the screen to flicker different shades of black and gray and requiring a hard reset – depressing the power button for 10 seconds – to reboot the system.

Microsoft announced last week that this would be the only manual update to the Xbox One since all future updates will be downloaded automatically, so if you haven't downloaded it yet, maybe hold off until Microsoft gets a patch out. Or else just don't touch that Xbox button in the middle of a Titanfall beta match.

This latest update sought to fix lagging user complaints such as the lack of storage management, controller battery life indicators or the ability to use USB keyboards with the console.
