Vincent D’Onofrio and Irrfan Khan have both been cast in the upcoming film Jurassic World. D'Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) will assume the role of the film's primary villain, while Khan (Life of Pi) signed on to play an unspecified role.
Colin Trevorrow will direct Jurassic World and he also co-wrote the script with his Safety Not Guaranteed collaborator, Derek Connolly. So, no, Steven Spielberg won't have his hand in writing or directing the movie, but fret not: He will produce it.
Jurassic World is set to release on June 12, 2015 and begins shooting in April.
