It’s been nearly five years since ABC unceremoniously pulled the plug on one of the most unique shows to ever hit its air, Pushing Daisies. While the ratings never impressed the network brass, the story of a pie-maker named Ned, played by Lee Pace, who could bring people back from the dead, attracted a rabid, cult following of fans.

Luckily, series creator Bryan Fuller hasn’t forgotten about this loyal fanbase, and during an interview with E!, Fuller revealed that he has talked to Warner Brothers and director Barry Sonnenfeld about bringing Pushing Daisies back as either a movie or musical. Here is what he told the site:

None

Obviously any movement on this project is still a long way off, but if Veronica Mars could be plucked from the brink of obscurity for a movie, there is no reason why Pushing Daisies can’t be afforded a second chance at life. After all, isn’t that what the show is all about?
