Instagram Robbery Stunts Land Philadelphia Man Behind Bars

Police in Philadelphia have arrested a man who posted a string of videos of him and an accomplice threatening victims with what appeared to be an authentic handgun. 

According to the Smoking Gun, authorities say that 21-year-old Daron Stinson and 19-year-old Courtland Gilliam would film themselves driving up to unsuspecting pedestrians, then pointing—and sometimes firing—a pellet gun at them. They would then upload the videos to Stinson's Instagram account, where he identifies himself as an asipring comedian and actor.

Stinson has been charged with aggravated assault, robbery, reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats. He's being held on $125,000 bail.
