In 1990 Nintendo was a literal god in the gaming industry.

They had consoles, games, breakfast cereals, Saturday morning cartoons, and the gaming world by the balls. 1990 saw legions of kids mob Nintendo Powerfest events held at local Blockbusters and mall food courts for their chance to be on television or win free swag.

Unfortunately for those hoping that a spot on the Powefest television event would lead to a Justin Timberlake style Disney Mouseketeers, the only thing it lead to was a painful immortality thanks to YouTube.

This series of videos was part of a promotion for Nintendo Fruit Snacks. The children were forced to dance to the Nintendo Fruit Snacks rap and the results are just too delicious not to share.

The best part of this whole video is the word "rap" being put into quotation marks.

Enjoy.
