Rebel Against Love With This New "Nymphomaniac: Volume I" Trailer

Armed with the best marketing campaign in years and a concept that would make the most open-minded person blush from head to toe, Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac has become one of the most talked about films of the year. Split up into two parts and running around four hours in total, this sex odyssey has piqued the interest of hardcore film buffs and curious members of the general audience due to its stacked cast and overt sexuality.

In this latest trailer for the movie, courtesy of Yahoo!, we get a closer look at the psychological impact that being a nymphomaniac has had on the main character Joe, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg. It’s not as raunchy as some of the other trailers and clips released for the movie so far, but it does showcase von Trier’s trademark offbeat sensibilities. In spite of, or maybe because of, the lurid sexual content of the film, Nymphomaniac is currently enjoying a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Nymphomaniac: Volume I will be released on VOD on Mar. 6 and will hit theaters on March 21. This will be followed by Volume II on VOD Mar. 20 and in theaters April 4.
