In a new ad, the dating site has plumbed new depths of desperation. The website Tablet magazine took to Twitter to ask whether or not, a site centered on matching men and women in the Jewish community, had gone too far with a recent ad in its "Get Chosen" campaign. 

"6,000 years of oppression just so you can go on" the ad reads. 

Tablet, a publication focused on Jewish cultural heritage, put it to its followers to determine if the ad was "clever or cringe-worthy." The verdict is still out, but what's next? OKCupid blames Tinder for jacking all eligible booty-calls?
