Netflix has unleashed its latest fictional venture: Netflix DVD drone delivery.
The 'Drone 2 Home' educational video showcases their same day home delivery subscription service, in which a fleet of high tech drones will deliver your disc in mere minutes. With a location-enabled smartphone, you can get your Netflix delivered to any location your heart desires.
“Unlike other companies trying to rush unproven technology to market, we have literally spent days working out most of the bugs,” said Hank Breeggemann, the general manager of Netflix’s DVD division. "Netflix: the past and future of entertainment technology... tuh- dayy."
'Drone 2 Home' was uploaded to YouTube by Netflix Engineering Director, Paul Johnson and was making fun of Amazon Prime Air's service that promises to deliver packages in 30 minutes or less using small spaceship-looking devices.
